Coming Together as One

As it has done for the past 75 years, the Foundation of Catholic Community Services (FCCS) continues to pursue its vital role of providing the physical framework for the organizations and institutions serving the members of the English-speaking Catholic community and other people within the Greater Montreal region. The FCCS is dedicated to developing its properties and to enhance their use and value to better contribute to the community and be able to meet emerging needs.

PILLARS TRUST FUND: Fostering Pastoral Activities Essential to the Community

The principal mission of the Pillars Trust Fund (PTF) is to provide leadership and financial assistance in support of pastoral activities vital to the English-speaking Catholic community of Montreal. Among the Trust Fund's three "pillars" is helping to meet the challenge of the aging clergy population. Pillars is committed to funding the formation of priests and to developing new opportunities for the discernment of this vocation, which is all-important to the future of the city's Catholic community. PTF also collaborates actively in the faith and spiritual aspects of youth development programs, as well as on the educational, religious and spiritual needs of adults and the elderly.

THE FATHER DOWD FOUNDATION: Contributing to Caring for the Most Vulnerable

The Father Dowd Foundation (FDF) is devoted to supporting organizations that strive to enhance the quality of life and promote the
independence and well-being of the Montreal English-speaking Catholic community's senior citizens. The Foundation places
particular emphasis on older adults who have lost a degree of physical, cognitive or psychosocial autonomy and, thus,
may be isolated and especially vulnerable.
